In China, it is the biggest poultry feed company with the production capacity which reached 20 million tons per year. New Hope employs more than 80.000 people and has 10.000 professionals in the field. In Indonesia, PT New Hope was opened in 2006 and started production in 2008. The company saw the market opportunity to produce Day-Old Chicks (DOC), the baby chickens that are 72 hours old, when the yolk sac in the egg runs out.
