There is a lot of misappropriation of assets, including those related to the theft of cash, misappropriation of inventory, and fraudulent reimbursement. The most interesting thing about this case is a financial innovation product called the JS Saving Plan which is a ‘bancassurance’ insurance product, with protection for five years, but with an investment period of one year. This scheme claims investors will be paid annually unless the customer requests a policy extension. After the claim is paid off, the personal accident protection period will continue until the fifth year. The company tried everything to survive, but could not cope with the economic conditions and turned around the direction of the stock price as an underlying foundation for its portfolio.
