Dr Renata Osowska
Dr Renata Osowska graduated in business management at the University of Wroclaw (Poland) with MSc. She also studied law at Christian Albrecht’s University in Kiel, Germany (Erasmus Scholarship) before moving to Scotland where she completed a PhD in Entrepreneurship at UWS. She also completed PgCert in Business Research Methods (UWS, Scotland), PgCert in Learning and Teaching in HE and PgCert in Blended and Online Education (ENU, Scotland).
Her main research interests are related to entrepreneurship and small business development and the influence of culture and socio-economic environment on entrepreneurial behaviour, including entrepreneurial mobility.
Currently Renata is a module leader for Exploring Entrepreneurship and Managing Innovation (HK) modules and programme leader for BA Business & Enterprise (online). She is supervising students from doctoral to undergraduate level. She is also an External Examiner for Aston University and a PDT.
She is a Senior Fellow of HEA, RSA Fellow and a member of various academic organisations (e.g. ISBE, ECSB). She is also acting as ECSB Country VP for the UK and co-Lead of Entrepreneurship Cluster at the International Centre for Management and Governance Research.
